Agreement to Terms
By booking a service with Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning ("we," "us," or "our"), accessing our website at magiccarpetsteamcleaning.com, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning is owned and operated by Ken Wong and is based in Honolulu, Hawaii, serving the island of Oahu.
Services
Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning provides professional cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Residential and commercial carpet steam cleaning
- Upholstery and fabric furniture cleaning
- Commercial carpet cleaning for businesses
- Emergency flood and water extraction (24-hour service)
- Move-out carpet cleaning for rentals and military housing
All services are performed using professional truck-mounted hot-water extraction equipment and eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions that are safe for children and pets.
Booking and Scheduling
Services may be booked by phone at (808) 426-7500 or online through our Housecall Pro booking platform. By booking a service, you confirm that you have the authority to grant access to the property where services will be performed.
Appointment times are estimates and may vary depending on scheduling, traffic, and the scope of prior appointments. We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window and will contact you if there are any delays.
Online bookings made through our website include a complimentary hallway cleaning, closet cleaning, and spot treatment at no additional charge.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to other customers.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a requirement for a deposit to secure future bookings.

Pricing and Payment
Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning operates on a flat rate pricing model. You will receive a clear, upfront price before any work begins, and that is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees, no upsells, and no surprise charges.
If the scope of work changes upon arrival (for example, additional rooms, heavily soiled areas requiring extra treatment, or conditions not disclosed during booking), we will discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding. No additional work will be performed without your approval.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods available through Housecall Pro.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not 100% satisfied with the results of our cleaning service, contact us within 48 hours of the completed service and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge.
Our satisfaction guarantee applies to the quality of the cleaning work performed. It does not cover pre-existing permanent stains, damage, or discoloration that cannot be removed through professional steam cleaning. We will always be transparent about what results to expect before we begin work.
Property Access and Care
By scheduling a service, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas to be cleaned. This includes:
- Ensuring clear access to the property and the areas requiring service
- Moving small, fragile, or valuable items from the work area prior to our arrival
- Securing pets in a separate area during the cleaning process
- Providing access to a water source and electrical outlets as needed
- Informing us of any known issues, damage, or areas of concern before work begins
We treat every property with the utmost care and respect. Our technicians use protective measures including corner guards and furniture protectors to prevent damage during the cleaning process. We are fully licensed and insured in the State of Hawaii.
Emergency Flood and Water Extraction
Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning offers 24-hour emergency flood and water extraction services. Due to the urgent nature of water damage situations, the following terms apply:
- Emergency services are subject to availability and may be priced differently from standard cleaning services.
- We will provide a price estimate before beginning work whenever possible. In situations requiring immediate action to prevent further damage, work may begin before a detailed estimate is finalized, with your verbal authorization.
- Water extraction services are designed to remove standing water and begin the drying process. We are not a mold remediation or general contractor company. Additional restoration services beyond water extraction may require specialized contractors.
- In Hawaii's warm, humid climate, mold can begin to grow within 24 to 48 hours of water damage. Prompt service is critical, and delays in contacting us may affect results.

Limitation of Liability
Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning is fully licensed and insured. We take every precaution to prevent damage to your property during the cleaning process. However, the following limitations apply:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or conditions including but not limited to worn carpet fibers, color fading, delamination, seam separation, or damage caused by previous improper cleaning.
- Some stains (including certain dye stains, bleach marks, and permanent discoloration) may not be fully removable through steam cleaning. We will advise you if we believe a stain cannot be completely removed before proceeding.
- Our liability for any property damage caused directly by our negligence is limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the affected area.
- We are not liable for damage to items left in the work area that were not moved prior to cleaning (such as electronics, fragile items, or valuables).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.

The content on magiccarpetsteamcleaning.com, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any information displayed.
Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any legal action. Mediation will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii, with a mutually agreed-upon mediator.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall be filed in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Magic Carpet Steam Cleaning, its owner, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services or website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
